The Original Lashes By Shigeru salon was established in 2014 in Beverly Hills. Our new state-of-the-art location is at 2999 Overland Avenue, Suite 127, Los Angeles. Shigeru and Martin Hanai are lash innovators with intimate knowledge of eyelash services gained from owning salons in Tokyo and New York. Their background in beauty and eyelash services elevates your experience to an A-List Celebrity level.

Lashes by Shigeru has quickly become a community staple, drawing local and celebrity clients from all around the Los Angeles area. After spending a decade as a master hairstylist in Tokyo and New York, Shigeru discovered that many of his clients were frustrated with the results provided by most eyelash salons. With the desire to improve the quality of products and services to his clients, Shigeru moved to Los Angeles where he founded and opened Lashes by Shigeru in Beverly Hills. The salon is known for using its own line of top-quality Japanese AirLash™ eyelash extensions, adhesives, and growth serums. With Shigeru’s unique patent pending artificial eyelash design and groundbreaking technique of applying extensions, Shigeru’s clients receive natural, strikingly defined results.

We are located at 2999 Overland Avenue, Suite 127, Los Angeles, in a 2,600 sq ft salon suite with 8 state-of-the-art private treatment rooms. Reserved garage parking spaces are complimentary for our clients.

Co-owner and co-founder of Lashes by Shigeru, Shigeru Hanai is a Licensed Cosmetologist and a Certified Lash Master. He is multi-certified in classic, weightless, classic-volume and mega-volume lashes by National and International Lash Masters Association. After relocating to Los Angeles, he brought his love for revealing his client’s true beauty, where he is now serving clients across the greater Los Angeles area. Servicing models and celebrity clientele, Shigeru is a 1st place award-winning lash artist. His work has been featured in beauty magazines all over the world. Shigeru is very passionate about his craft. He always strives for perfection and goes the extra mile when it comes to customer service. Shigeru is well-respected by his peers of top international lash artists. They even enlist him to do their own lash services!

Our appointments are booked and confirmed by text, by phone, or our online booking system. Each technician is scheduled with consistent hourly appointments so your wait time is rarely more than 5 minutes. If we happen to run late, we will notify you by text or phone at least one hour before your scheduled appointment.
