Established in 2014, Lashes by Shigeru is a premier salon located in Beverly Hills, California. Lashes by Shigeru is owned by Shigeru Hanai, while business partner Martin Hanai provides day-to-day operations and personalized customer service to their clients. American immigrants from Tokyo, Japan and Vienna, Austria, Shigeru and Martin have intimate knowledge of beauty and eyelash services that make your treatment an A-list celebrity-level experience.

Lashes by Shigeru has quickly become a community staple, drawing local and celebrity clients from all around the Los Angeles area. After spending a decade as a master hairstylist in Tokyo and New York, Shigeru discovered that many of his clients were frustrated with the results provided by most eyelash salons. With the desire to improve the quality of products and services to his clients, Shigeru moved to Los Angeles where he founded and opened Lashes by Shigeru in Beverly Hills. The salon is known for using its own line of top-quality Japanese AirLash™ eyelash extensions, adhesives, and growth serums. With Shigeru’s unique patent pending artificial eyelash design and groundbreaking technique of applying extensions, Shigeru’s clients receive natural, strikingly defined results.

Co-owner and co-founder of Lashes by Shigeru, Shigeru Hanai is a Licensed Cosmetologist and Master Lash Artist. He is multi-certified in classic, weightless, classic-volume and mega-volume lashes by National and International Lash Masters Association. After relocating to Los Angeles, Shigeru brought his love for revealing his client’s true beauty, where he is now serving clients across the Los Angeles area. Servicing models and celebrity clientele, Shigeru is a 1st place award-winning lash artist. His work has been featured in beauty magazines all over the world. Shigeru is very passionate about his craft. He always strives for perfection and goes the extra mile when it comes to customer service. Shigeru is well-respected by his peers of top international lash artists. They even enlist him to do their own lash services!

Our appointments are booked and confirmed by text, by phone, or our online booking system. Each technician is scheduled with consistent hourly appointments so your wait time is rarely more than 5 minutes. If we happen to run late, we will notify you by text or phone at least one hour before your scheduled appointment.
